Jumeirah Islands is a quiet, gated villa community: clusters of homes on islands set around lakes, with gardens and low traffic. That makes it a lovely place to live with a dog, but most of the pet-friendly cafés and the nearest off-leash dog park are just outside it, in neighbouring Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) and the communities along the same stretch of Sheikh Zayed Road.
Rules for walking dogs on the community's own paths and around the lakes are set by the community's management, so check with them or your security gate before you head out. Below are the places close by that sources list as pet-friendly.
